“Orchid Witchery ”

The Sarasota Orchid Society held its 48th Annual Orchid Show and Sale, featuring Florida-based growers showcasing thousands of award-winning orchids, on October 18th and 19th. Show hours were Saturday, October 30th 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, October 31th 10:00 a.m., to 5:00 p.m.  This year’s show was held in the beautiful Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, 811 South Palm Avenue, Sarasota Florida.

In line with Halloween, the theme, “Orchid Witchery ” this show used thousands of orchids hanging and cascading throughout the Selby Gardens Activities Center in every size and color imaginable.

Participating vendors at the Annual Orchid Show & Sale were: D & B Orchids, Tom Ritter Orchids, Tropic 1 Orchids, Byrd's Orchids, Tropiflora, Florida Sun Coast Orcids, Hicks Orchids, Nature on the Rocks, Orchid Island Orchids, and Plantio La Orquidea.
