2005 ORCHID SHOW AND SALE October 15 - 16, 2005 “Symphony of Orchids ”

The Sarasota Orchid Society will hold its 49th Annual Orchid Show and Sale, featuring Florida-based growers show casing thousands of award-winning orchids, on October 15th and 16th at the City of Sarasota, Municipal Auditorium, 801 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL.  Show hours are Saturday, October 15th, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, October 16th, 10:00 a.m., to 5:00 p.m. 

The theme, “Symphony of Orchids ” will use thousands of orchids hanging and cascading throughout the Municipal Auditorium in every size and color imaginable.

Renowned artist, Verona Warkentin Simmons will be autographing her wonderful 49th Annual Sarasota Orchid Society Show poster, Symphony of Orchids. The full color, high quality poster will sell for $10.00 , or become a member and receive your signed poster for only $5.00. Single Membership is $15.00/year, Family Membership, $20.00/year (same address).

Participating vendors at the Annual Orchid Show & Sale will be: B & D Orchids, Tom Ritter Orchids, Byrd's Orchids, Florida Sun Coast Orchids, Hicks Orchids, Nature on the Rocks, Krull-Smith Orchids, Odom Orchids, Orchids Etcetera, Sanctuary Orchids and Tropical's, Orchid Mania, Evolution Orchids, Featherstone Orchids, Pelican Coast Farms, Marie Selby Botanical Book Store, Stig Dalstrom (Botanical Art) and Plantio La Orquidea.

Participating Orchid Societies are The Sarasota Orchid Society, Venice Area Orchid Society, Tampa Orchid Club, Tampa Bay Orchid Society and the Charlotte County Orchid Society.
